Law and Education Connections is a multi service consulting firm that delivers law focused educational programming and legal services to students from Pre-K through 12th grade. The mission of LE Connections is to instill knowledge and good character in every young person by helping them understand the personal, social and legal implications of their behavior. Through our workshops, students learn and understand the law as it relates to the choices they make everyday, and begin to think critically about the positive and negative consequences of their behavior.
Our workshops cover topics including (but not limited to) How to Interact with Law Enforcement, Bullying, Cyberbullying, Sexting, The Responsible Use of Social Media, Social Media and Mental Health, and Marijuana/Substance Use. Each workshop is an interactive discussion and is tailored to the needs of the group for which it is intended. We’ve created and delivered workshops in public and private schools throughout the New York Area, as well as in non traditional school settings such as group homes and secure youth detention centers. We also create programming for parent groups, educators, churches and community organizations. We are confident that every participant will walk away with the knowledge and critical thinking skills they need to maximize future success in school, careers and life. We also offer criminal defense services on retainer for those who have been arrested and/or formally charged with a crime.
